I’m Ms.Charlenea! My Kidzone journey began when I volunteered in 2006 for extra credit in high school for a couple months. I would shut down rooms at the end of the day to help the teachers out. Seeing all the kids having fun, being loud was nothing new to me because I come from a big loud family lol. Most of my summers were spent babysitting my nieces and nephews, they are my world! I was destined to be working around children. 

I came back in 2012 as a toddler teacher and after 3 yrs I decided I was ready to move up and I became Ms.Cheri’s co teacher in the pre k class for almost 2 yrs. since 2017 I’ve been moving from Kidzone 1, 2,3,4 and 5, helping out where ever I was needed; cooking, cleaning, teaching, breaking etc. Finally I have made it back to my home site at #1 to work as the assistant director and am now Co directing along side Ms.Quasa and my niece our Program Lead Ms.Tati! We’re the ultimate trio. But of course our site wouldn’t be great without our AMAZING teachers.It’s Chaotic at times but worth it, I’ve learned so much from the staff, parents and especially the children. Everyday is a learning experience and I wouldn’t want to grow with any other company. I am Kidzone strong! 

Seasoned Washington based professional in Early Childhood Education with 10 years of experience. I received my Associates Degree in Summer of 2022. I am also a proud mother of a very active toddler My hobbies include site-seeing, listening to music, tuning into my favorite vloggers, therapeutic coloring, and reading. My favorite color is Lilac, which means living in the moment. Associated with qualities such as friendliness, and open-minded, being sociable and open to different ways of thinking according to color psychology. The quickest way to my heart is through peanut M&M’s, Energy Drinks, or Hispanic food! I am very motivated to create the best possible future for my family. I am currently studying to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. My mother is my inspiration and a constant reminder for me to be the best version of me no matter what obstacles I may face throughout my journey, I will keep fighting the odds against me!
