Hi I'm Ms. Di. My journey in childcare began here in 1978, when Meridian was just a two lane road. Site II was originally called Firgrove Daycare. I have worked with every age group and shift over the years. I continued to stay on when the center was sold to another center. Years later Nayda and Tim bought the business and yes I stayed on. It is an absolute pleasure to work for them. I have had a few jobs over the years; Preschool Teacher, Program Supervisor, Cook, Assistant Director, and now I'm a Site Lead for the second time!

Hey I'm Shayla, Co-Site Lead at KidZone 2, Program Lead and Pre-K Teacher! I have been with KidZone since 2020, and am currently in school at North Seattle College to obtain my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I live with my wonderful partner and two kitties, and when I am not teaching little ones I am gardening, reading or doing homework! The support and teamwork present within the KidZone team has helped me feel motivated and excited to support the children and families I serve!
